Makeup Certification Class!

Service Description

Our one-on-one Makeup certification class is 3 hours long and cost is $400 We'll educate you on salon etiquette, proper sanitation/disinfection, and cosmetic application. (Model is needed for your cosmetic application demo at the end of class.) You also get a "Certificate of Completion" from us as well as a "Starter Makeup Kit" filled with must-have cosmetic products & makeup brushes. Once we complete the class, you'll apply online with the Ohio State Cosmetology & Barber Board for your Boutique Service Registration. You're going to print off the Boutique Affidavit Form (this confirms your 3 hours of training &/or apprenticeship with a licensed educator in cosmetology or esthetics), that will need to be signed in front of and notarized by an authorized notary in each of our presence. (We have a mobile notary that comes to the salon upon completion of required class hours. They charge $35 for notary, which is included in the total price.) For the final step, you'll submit requested information & documentation to the Ohio State Cosmetology & Barber Board after which, you'll receive your actual certification to practice/work as a professional Makeup Artist within your own suite or licensed salon. The board will email you your certification paper within 5 business days, sometimes sooner, allowing you to print off and post publicly in your workspace or licensed salon/suite. ***The $150 Deposit paid will be credited towards your class. The remaining $250 is due upon arrival. Please have that in cash or ready to pay with your credit or debit card. Ohio State Tax will be applied to your remaining balance***

Cancelation Policy

To cancel/reschedule your appointment please call 513-834-8700 or email: creativeculturecincy@gmail.com 24 hours or more before your scheduled appt. time. Deposits paid to book for services are non-refundable. Please arrive on time! If you are 10 minutes or more late, a $10 late fee is added to your total balance. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment is cancelled, and you will have to reschedule and your booking fee is forfeited.
